Prices in Russia and in the UK differ. For you to understand the potential of the business we used the Big Mac Index in our calculations (the cost of a Big Mac). A Big Mac consists of a number of goods (bread, cheese, meat and vegetables) so it could be considered a clear reflection of the national economy. Of course, it’s not the best way of comparing the pricing in different countries but it can give you a general idea.
As of January 2017 a Big Mac costs £1.78 in Russia and £2.99 in the UK. The difference equals 42.3%. This is why Bonplan raises the cost of Russian services for the UK by 42.3%.
Judging by the operation of SmartTouch POS in Russia, 24* new customers are registered for the service monthly. They pay a service fee for the annual license and equipment in the amount of $160* (£177, if we base calculations on the Big Mac Index*). If you sign 24* customers a month, your profits should amount to £4 248*, considering the Big Mac Index. Users have to renew their annual license, and with new customers registering for the service monthly, you will be making twice as much every year. According to Evgenii Balter, the project was launched 2 years ago. SmartTouch is a cloud technology for cafés, restaurants and other similar businesses. The software works on tablets and the back office is stored on a cloud. This way instead of purchasing costly softwares restaurant owners can pay a small monthly fee and get a simple records keeping system. Today over 500 customers use the software in Russia and neighbouring countries as well as in India and Canada.
Dealer support is provided in English. The dealer also gets the access to a personal account where they can control customer interaction. Dealers will have to consult their customers, and the management company will handle everything else.
Evgenii claims that an average sales manager is able to land 10 new customers every month. The cost of an annual subscription is $109. The dealer will be receiving passive income from their customers.
